- I started sewing Flora Doora bags several years ago for friends, and commerically for a shop in Sarasota, Florida. My bags have also made their way to France, for a country wedding and to a pretty little shop in Nannay. Since I have retired recently, there is more time to enjoy sewing, decorating and most of all traveling (especially to France) with my husband, Peter.

Oh... a fellow Detroit Lions fan! Our thanksgiving is not complete without the drama around the game! There's me slaving away in the kitchen and the sounds clearly heard in any corner of the house? My husband yelling at the screen. Oh, happy day when they win!
